{the simple things} calling home

Little brother loves all things yellow and all things chocolate. But he also really, really loves all things technology. Specifically small things with buttons, such as remotes or phones. So when he was cranky and sick last week, I brought out one of my old cell phones. I used to love this model, but one of the buttons doesn't work properly anymore so we eventually got a new one. I never got rid of the old one though.

Little brother loves it. He doesn't leave home without it. He even takes it to bed.


He takes photos, too. Pretend of course, since I told him a button was broken and it doesn't work anymore at all. Technically I guess I could charge it, but we prefer some kind of imagination left around here.


Mostly he's busy writing emails and calling his grandmother. Or taking calls from customers. Just like daddy.

    Oh, Swenja... what a cute boy you have!
    I remember when I was little... I had lots of fun with some toy telephones (but not cell phones. They didn't exist back then!).

    I love his chubby fingers on the photo he is taking a picture. Oh and that last one... adorable.
